Pinjore Garden: Photographs-2

It is now ‘Yadvinder Garden’, named after the former ruler of Patiala. Mr. Sirohi, who had been accompanying us worked here to restore the grandeur of the place and the palace as his first assignment. We visited on a working day enroute to Simla from Chandigarh, when there were hardly few visitors. However, the place is well maintained and worth visiting. Many a times, tourism department add some features that hardly go along well with a beautiful old structure. The Japanese garden here was just one such thing. It hardly impressed me.
