Tsunami of a different type and me

For last three days, a tsunami struck my computer. It has not still receded fully. I was trying to swim it out. I have done that but not very happy with my experiences with the dealer who sold me this costly branded computer, nor with the company who pleaded of a better internet speed from Reliance telephone connection. It indicates a speed of 115 kbps when connected, but its effective performance is worse than what BSNL gave with 24 kbps. A person like me with very little knowledge of the intricacy will only get confused. And that I am. The software service engineer who visited me after scores of my ardent calls to remove the virus did his job by installing a totally new software-e Scan Anti Virus Monitor and removing the Norton one even after my objections. To be frank I don’t know if he has done a good job. With all the equipment that I have bought I face the similar problem. Before getting one, I would have learnt as much as possible about the computer functioning perhaps by attending a regular class. I didn’t do that perhaps out of my ego. And so I shall have to undergo the obvious mental torture as when I come across some problems that be silly for a knowledgeable ones. Let me see how long it takes to overcome the losses made by me.
I wish a great happy and prosperous new year for all my readers. I am sure the coming year will bring many new things for all of us. Let me list some of my wishes for the new year:
Let God give the courage and strength to face the situations to all those affected by the natural calamity of Tsunami that is perhaps the first one that I have heard in my life time. What a great calamity and how helpless a human being is?
Let country achieve a GDP growth of 10%+ in next fiscal and we all work for it.
Let the manufacturing sector move ahead with higher growth rate and go for some acquisition such as one of IBM by the Chinese company.
Let the textile sector accomplish the best out of lifting of the quota system and become the major employment provider.
Let the auto sector grow strong and become the manufacturing hub for at least small cars. Let Tata Motors succeed in coming out with its concept of Rs 1 Lakh car for entry level.
Let Bharat Forge become the largest forging company and crankshafts manufacturer of the world in next fiscal.
Let the Golden Quadrilateral get completed and so the other Expressways in hand.
Let the Ambani problems are settled in the best interest of the nation and the power plant near Dadri goes ahead as per the announced schedule for completion.
Let the peace talk with Pakistan get materialized so that our expenditure on defence is reduced.
Let some 10 educational institutes and universities come in global best list.
Let an Indian get a Nobel Prize this year..
Let there be no calamity such as the tsunami next year and the country get a good uniformly spread monsoon.
Wishing you all a very Happy and prosperous New Year!!
