Hopes: Maya Mends, RSS Tries, Rahul Leads

As reported, Maya has ultimately heard some advices of the wise men of the country or might have realized the necessity on her own and changed her. Many including this author too suggested her to focus on doing everything to improve the education for the children of the deprived class. That will be the greatest service to the Dalits and perhaps the better one than the Rs 3000 crore memorials of the Dalit icons. And it is not only Mayawati but everyone else who can contribute to this priority, will be doing a great service to the country. If all the agencies working on the social problem try collectively to educate the Dalits, for that matter, all the deprived children, the country will get ahead and compete easily with other emerging nations including China.

As reported, an Ambedkar hostel, part of Baba Sahib Bhimrao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Sthal in Lucknow with palatial rooms to air-conditioned classrooms and facilities such as a digital library provides everything to bring the Dalits at par with the elite.

I wish Mayawati provides similar facilities in all the cities in her state and does everything to provide the Dalits the quality education that can bring permanent transformation.

The news of RSS working to weld the castes is another hope. But the best of all comes from Rahul, who has made getting along with the Dalits as his mission. Rahul and his young friends are hearing their problems in their own huts and houses, dining and staying with them will certainly bring a change in the rural India suffering the maximum with the evils of caste discrimination. I wish it’s not politics only. Let the other political parties emulate.

And more interestingly, the insistence for partner of the same caste is declining as preference as per a partner preference survey.

I hate hearing the Hindus perpetuating the caste and community discrimination. Hindus for ages believe in rebirths as all specie on earth. Once one knows that he might have been in the same caste or community in some birth, how one can have hatred for that and look down upon those in that caste and differentiate?
