VHP’s Fatwa

I have no interest in Advani or BJP. But I have interest in my India. For that, it is necessary that we have a national party other than Congress too. BJP can serve this national objective. Till NDA with BJP as major constituent was the ruling party, we could never realize the damaging role this VHP can play. Togadiajee had already invented trisul-the trident as the symbol of Hindutva and was trying to disturb the peace. It is he who has called abusive adjective for Advani. Now, VHP asks BJP president L.K. Advani to quit politics and urges the party to replace him with a pro-Hindu leadership. They have also named BJP as ‘Bharatiya Jinnah Party‘. I can never expect anything better than this from them.
All along, I was canvassing that VHP must work only for reforms in Hindu society. But as it appears and as they have proclaimed earlier too, VHP and some of its leaders have political aspirations. They intend to retain their nuisance value. It is they who were behind the demolition of Babri Masjid. It will be they who will try to inflict maximum harm to BJP too. They will even not hesitate to side with Congress, as most of them are just part of the religious mafia who can do anything to keep the control over their maths, akharas, ashramas, and mandirs.
It will be interesting to learn about their credentials to represent Indian Hindus. As much I know, they only represent sadhus and so-called saints of certain sects and clans. Most of these sadhus are those who start as beggars. They become sadhus by growing beards and hairs and then by putting red vermilion on their foreheads. Tulsidas in Ram Charitmans has described them as ” Naree muee aur sampati nashi, munda mudaya bhaye sanyashi.” Their knowledge at the most is limited to the books published from Gita Press.
These are the people who call themselves the leaders for the rural and religious common Hindus. These are the people who help the society to perpetuate all useless rituals and harmful beliefs. The society must get rid off them, as most of them are illiterate and without any achievement religious or otherwise. You can go to any of the Hindu religious places and you can see hordes of them. If you try to get inside, they may be one involved in all shorts of mischievous activities starting from sexual assaults to swindling of properties or even theft.
It will be much better for BJP to loose an election rather than keeping the company of such organization with so poor and unstable leadership.
