Golden Gate, San Francisco on a Bright Good Saturday

So it was Saturday again. It was raining in the early morning. We decided to go up to Golden Gate of San Francisco. The day became sunny and pleasant even at the top of the vista site. And the place was crowded too with tourists of all types and many countries too. How much money has been invested to make it place worth visiting and remembering in memory for lifetime? But let me show you some photographs first.
Through the local news, I came to know of a historical fact. At one time, there was a proposal made to create a barrage and convert the resulting water body thus into sweet water lake. It was environmentalists who saved it.
