Was it a Planned Defeat?

Pakistan cricket team won the final in Delhi and also the series. It was certainly a great coming back for the team that lost two consecutive matches. The Pakistani-win with their President present in Delhi was in interest of both the countries. However, I don’t know if a loss would have affected the mood of the General. The margin of difference in performance was certainly disgusting.
As it has become the norm of Indian character and performance, we are never consistent in our performance or perhaps we are too magnanimous, as President of Pakistan wanted India to become as a bigger country while talking about our relations. Perhaps the former reason is more near to the truth.
Two things came to my mind after I read about the defeat.
First was a negative one.
Will we loose our race of outsourcing and IT software business with China in the same manner? Perhaps that is one thing that I don’t like to happen. Will the industry and the government survive the potential risks and excel? I am sure, we can and I wish all those connected with the industry keep on doing great and maintain the lead. This industry should not loose its place as it happened with our supremacy in the game of hockey. If Indian entrepreneurs don’t keep the cheaper labor cost as the only winning factor, they will come behind many very soon. However, if they keep on value addition and productivity as their strength along with user friendliness, quality and service as their differentiators, they can maintain the lead. After all, this is a game of knowledge era and a business with intelligent class.
Next was a dream.
Can India, Pakistan and Bangladesh form a single cricket team with their best players and participate in world cups? Can the three cricket associations merge or come under one umbrella? It would have helped in reducing the bitterness between the relations of the countries to a great extent. A united effort of these countries can make the people of the region prosperous. We could win in many other ways too. We could get over the religion issues so easily. Our synergy could have made us more respectable among the nations of the world.
