Finally, the MOU of Posco deal for a $12 billion FDI for a 10million ton integrated steel plant has been signed between Orissa government and Posco. If executed efficiently, it will bring good name and lot of benefits through employment and related economic activities to this basically backward state. Naveen Patnaik! Keep on the mission moving, and keep a close watch on execution. I wish even if some new government comes, it does not do any harm to get political mileage.
Tata Steel is one of the cheapest producers of steel. It is going fast on globalization route. After Natsteel, Tata Steel is going for a joint venture in Iran too. Recently, Tata Steel was adjudged the best steel company of the world.
Retail is coming in a big way in India too. Like the Chinese there are some few in India too who think in the superlative term for their project. And so the world’s largest mall is coming up in Gurgaon, the town that was only known for Maruti Udyog once. I wish the government allowed multinationals too to join the retail race. Let the leftists understand that there is nothing to worry.
Bharat Forge, the second largest forge manufacturer of the world, is going great. Now it has acquired a forge company in USA too. Bharat Forge can become the largest exporter of the world forgings too. I wish the company could form a group making all forgers of India it members, assist them in quality, and market overseas their forgings too.
And as it appears India Inc. is now shining with good news pouring in almost every day.
Read about “India’s Rising Powerhouse’ soon.
