Mumbai’s Murder Plan: Saviours Wanted

Is Mumbai dying? Didn’t Rajiv Gandhi make a similar statement for Calcutta? Will Rahul make similar statement one day or try to save the great city? Will Manmohan do something to make his promise to make it a Shanghai coming true?

I was told once, in Bollywood nothing happened without the permission of Don D. And secretly, all the great men of cinema world kept them in touch with D. Has not the role of D been taken over by Big Ts? If naxalism is a threat to the nation, is not the rising of Ts equally devastating for the integrity of India? Can a great democracy be saved by the meetings of Cricket ministers with Big T? Why has Matoshree become so important a place?

And all these questions have cropped up today because of the latest happeneings in Mumbai that started because of a statement made by a hero in Bollywood that was even seconded by the home minister of the country.

But more pertinent is another question. Who can save the situation? Who can free Mumbai of Bombay from the Three Terrorists (or real Idiots)? Will the Maharashtrians understand and appreciate the necessity to go ahead and save Mumbai from these Ts and their goons? I am not sure if they are waiting for Shiva to open his third eye on this Sivaratri.

If this is not done, Mumbai will go Kolkata way and none can save it, as no Mamata or Budhha can make Kolkata what it was in 50s as Calcutta.

PS: The Good News: Mumbaikars descended in hordes to the few theatres that began screening Shah Rukh starrer My Name Is Khan, ensuring a full house at every show.
