And finally Modi has won the verdicts of the people in Gujarat. I love him, as he is a brave man. He didn’t bother for RSS and VHP and even the oldies of his own party. Naturally Modi was fighting not only against Sonia’s Congress but also against his own party men who were against him and casteist Patels who had declared a war against him.
Till yesterday, the Congress and media were hoping against hope for a possible win for the Congress. A number of reports in the newspapers even today had expressed the views. But funniest that I heard on TV yesterday was the news reports from satta market. The market was showing possibility of Congress win. Were all these reports since the election was announced in media, the attempts to demoralize and pressurize Modi? Did media fight Modi this election as a party to it? NDTV and CNN-IBN were certainly had been dead against Modi. I don’t know why all intellectuals and many of the journalists are so biased. As media were against Modi winning the election, then the verdict is the defeat of media.
Unfortunately, English media hardly represent the real India that decides the election results.
